Fat Loss with the Ab Roller?

The Ab Roller is an exercise aid based on the patented “Accurate Rocker System.” It was designed to counteract the tendency of your spine to pivot rather than flex during a workout.

Targeting Belly Fat with the Ab Roller

The spine functions differently from any other joint in the body. Other joints pivot when during movements, the spine, however, flexes from vertebrae to vertebrae, creating a curve. During traditional sit-ups this curve can become a pivot, adding stress to your spine. The creators of the Ab Roller claim the device helps your spine follow its natural curve, thus eliminating or reducing painful injuries caused while exercising.

Product Features:

The Ab Roller is a simple, affordable and easy to assemble exercise aid that will store easily in your home. No confusing tools or complicated set-up is required.

The device operates off the idea of spot reduction. Spot reduction refers to the theory that continuous exercise in one area, such as the abs, encourages fat loss and muscle gain in that area.

The Ab Roller is an attempt to combine the spot reduction method with the “Accurate Rocker System.” The goal of the creators is to enhance belly fat loss in the midsection while protecting the head, neck, and spine from injury.

Easy to use, minimsl storage space, affordable.
Advertisers claim it supports the head and neck as well as encourage your spine to curve naturally during a workout.
Unlike most exercise equipment, the Ab Roller lives up to many of its claims. It does protect the neck and spine from injury.

Despite its claims, spot reduction causes minimal fat loss.
Consistent aerobic exercise and a healthy suger-free diet will provide much better results.
Although the Ab Roller protects the neck and back, the exercises falls short of the expectations to most users.
In reality, the Ab Roller seems to have no effect on the efficiency of your workouts.
The only exercise performed on the Ab Roller is the traditional sit up.
An old-fashioned exercise mat and sensible precautions against neck injury will provide the similar results.

The Ab Roller uses unproven theories as the basis of its marketing. Experts believe spot reduction provides little to no results. A healthy sugar-free diet combined with aerobic exercises, reliable fat loss supplements, and exercise machines with solid reviews are a preferred way of achieving your belly fat loss goals.

Lose Belly Fat Sugar Free

Firstly, cutting out sugar removes a lot of calories.

A teaspoon of white sugar has only (16 Calories) but that’s not the problem. It’s not just the sugar. It’s the company sugar keeps.

Sugar Stunts Fat Loss

Sugar Stunts Fat Loss

If you eliminate sugar-laden foods, you can lose belly fat. Quiting sugar eliminates a lot of calories from fat and refined starches aswell. That’s because we don’t eat sugar on its own. We consume it with fat and refined starches (you can’t bake a decent cake or biscuit without flour, fat and sugar).

Sugar isn’t the key issue. It’s just part of the bigger problem of junk food.

Removing soft drinks is a strategy often suggested to curb childhood obesity. Even reducing the volume of soft drink can help you lose belly fat.

Secondly, sugar is a “marker” for highly-processed foods.

When you quit sugar you’re cutting out foods nutritionists have always said you shouldn’t eat.

No candies, chocolate bars, cup cakes, doughnuts, soft drinks, caramel frappucinnos or lattes means you’re removing “junk food” that is calorie-dense, of poor nutritional value, that comes in large portions, is highly refined with added colours, flavours and preservatives.

Also, these foods are typically low in fibre and has a high GI (not good). None of these foods is any loss in a healthy diet. You’re better off without them.

What these foods have in common is sugar. It’s there for sweetness and flavour. And sugar does functional jobs like balancing acidity, preserving by preventing bad bacteria from growing and creating nice browning during baking. Just ask any chef.

Thirdly, quitting sugar means more natural, unprocessed foods.

What do you replace sugary foods with? Usually it’s more fruit and dried fruit, nuts, salads, water or you just eat more chicken, fish, meat and vegetables at your meals. Sounds pretty healthy to me.

Salty fat?

Note: You can still consume a lot of calories by eating fat and starch with salt. Also known as “salty fat”. No sugar there.

Watch how many potato crisps, corn chips or movie popcorn people consume when no-one’s around.
Check out the amount of gourmet cheese with crackers that is endulged after you’ve had dinner.
Also, the tubs of hot chips or slabs of pizza at kids’ parties?

You don’t have to quit sugar entirely to improve your health and your weight. Moderation is the key to eating healthy and sensibly and in a way that is easy to maintain. However, if you seriously want to lose belly fat, I am confident that eating less sugary junk food is a good thing to do.

My advice?

Write out your day’s intake of food. Circle the sweet foods and drinks you like to consume regularly or in large amounts. The most likely culprits are soft drinks, juices, cordial, chocolate, muffins and confectionery. Or circle the sweet foods you reach for when you need a comforting. Cut those out from your diet.

Remove the large amounts of sugar from your diet and don’t worry about the little bits that make low-fat, high-fibre, foods palatable such as a sprinkle of brown sugar on porridge, a scrape of jam on grainy bread or a drizzle of honey on your unsweetened breakfast cereal. And don’t stop eating fresh fruit.
